Read review →Better than Hack 04
- Leave Hack 04 for Vertex 05 when more stability outweighs the source’s padel power / padel maximum power bias. Vertex 05 centres on padel balanced / padel advanced. You give up Hack 04 spec (shape diamond).
- Vertex 05 advantage: manufacturer diamond + 12K + Multieva is the current Tello Vertex, not last year’s 04
- Also stronger on: bullpadel lists versatile / Total Play rather than a pure smash-only mould
What you give up
- You leave behind Hack 04's official offensive Hack 04 with Tricarbon 18K — not Hack 03
- Vertex 05 downside: 365–375 g diamond still punishes a late swing
- Only switch if compact sweet spot and stiff 18K face is a real problem — otherwise more control is optional
Who should switch
Choose Vertex 05 if your calendar is mostly padel balanced / padel advanced and Hack 04's padel power / padel maximum power bias is the wrong default.
Who should stay with Hack 04
Keep Hack 04 if Paquito Navarro’s 2026 Hack: attacking diamond with Tricarbon 18K, Multieva, Total Channel and Air React Channel. is still the honest match and you would only use Vertex 05's more control edge rarely.
Best for
- It when you already play at a high club or tournament level and want Tello’s 2026.
- It when that job shows up most weeks.
- Bullpadel lists versatile / Total Play rather than a pure smash-only mould.
